Section 27 - Home Brew

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRY FORM  - TUESDAY 17^th  JANUARY, 2012

DELIVERY OF EXHIBITS :  Exhibits will be accepted at the showground office on Saturday 14^th January 10.00am to 2.00pm

Monday 16^th January 8.30am to 4.30pm

Tuesday 17^th January 8.30am to 4.30pm

 Wednesday 18^th January 8.30am to 4.30pm   

ENTRY FEES:         $1.00 per Entry 2 bottles

PRIZEMONEY:                                                            1^st $15.00

                                                                                        2^nd $10.00

JUDGING AND PRESENTATION:   Friday 20^th January  

Please bring friends, family and colleagues to help celebrate the 15^th Anniversary of the Dapto Home Brew Section where Judging will commence at 5.30pm in the bar area and a full array of award winning beers will be able to be tasted.

This section will carry 6 categories of home brew. 2 bottles minimum size 375ml will be required in each category.  All bottles to be delivered to the Dapto showground office by 4.30pm Tuesday 17^th January.

Home brew will be judged on the following:

                                                            Taste                       20

                                                            Smell                       10

                                                            Clarity                       5

                                                            (please specify if beer is an

                                                            unfiltered beer)

                                                            Head                         5

All bottles will be numbered for judging (by staff).  All exhibitors exhibit at their own risk. Exhibits will remain on display until 7pm Saturday 21st January, 2012.

1.              Lager / New

2.              Pale Ale

3.              Dark Ale / Old

4.              Stout

5.              Bitter / Pilsner

6.              Any Other  (Ginger beer, Cider  etc)

EACH CATEGORY WINNER WILL RECEIVE A 6 PACK OF LONGBOARD PALE ALE

Prizemoney can be collected from the Show Office between 1.00pm and 5.00pm  on Saturday 21^st January or at collection of exhibits on Sunday 22^nd January between 1.00pm to 2.00pm

All Pavilion exhibits can be collected from the new Pavilion Areas between 1.00pm and 2.00pm on Sunday  22^ND January.
